Thank YOU for being part of the National Teach-In on Global Warming Solutions. You are joining with tens of thousands of students, teachers, citizens, and people of faith across the country, creating a partnership reaching across generations. Together, we can achieve real solutions in the first 100 days of the new administration, solutions that will change the future. Faith organizations across the country are leading the way, by reminding us all of our responsibility as stewards of Creation and by taking action.
This page should have everything that you need to put on a successful Teach-In at your house of worship.
Involve your faith community in the dialogue by hosting a screening of the faith version of The First 100 Days anytime between January 30 and Earth Day, April 20. Follow up with discussion materials provided by Interfaith Power & Light.
Then use the last half an hour of your teach-in to discuss 100 Days of Action. Make a plan to visit your member of congress when they are home for the President’s Day recess, sponsor a young person to go to Powershift, or discuss ways to shrink your congregation’s carbon footprint.
